Exodus 34.9

9. and said -- If, I pray thee, I have found favour in thine eyes, O My Lord, I pray thee let My Lord go on in our midst, -- although a stiff-necked people, it is, so wilt thou pardon our iniquity and our sin and take us as thine own.
