17. Dawid het vir God gesê: "Dit is tog ék wat opdrag gegee het om 'n sensus van die volk te hou en ék wat gesondig het. Die herder het kwaad gedoen, maar hierdie kudde, wat het húlle gedoen? Here my God, tree tog teen my en my familie op, maar nie met 'n plaag teen u volk nie."
