3. Die leër het egter geantwoord: "Nee, u moenie saamgaan nie, want as óns dalk moet vlug, kan ons maar vlug en niemand sal van ons notisie neem nie; of as die helfte van ons dalk sterf, sal dit nie saak maak nie. Maar u is soos tien duisend van ons. Dit sal beter wees as u ons van die stad af kom help."
