13. Gad het toe vir Dawid die boodskap gebring: "Wat wil jy liewer hê? Sewe jaar hongersnood in jou land, of drie maande waarin jy voor jou teenstanders vlug en hulle jou agtervolg, of drie dae lank pes in jou land? Oorweeg nou goed hoe ek Hom wat my gestuur het, moet antwoord."
