8. Op daardie dag het Dawid gesê: "Elkeen wat 'n Jebusiet wil verslaan, moet eers die watertonnel, en die blindes en kreupeles in die hande kry." Dawid het hulle blywend gehaat. Dit is waarom gesê word 'n blinde of 'n kreupele mag nie in die tempel inkom nie.
