2. En nou hou hulle maar aan met sondig: hulle het vir hulle beelde gemaak, afgodsbeelde van silwer na eie smaak. Maar dit bly die handewerk van ambagsmanne! Van hierdie beelde sê hulle: "As 'n mens wil offer, moet jy hierdie kalwers soen."
