26. Kështu ata morën demin që u dhanë dhe e përgatitën; pastaj përmendën emrin e Baalit nga mëngjesi deri në drekë, duke thënë: "O Baal, na u përgjigj!". Por nuk u dëgjua asnjë zë dhe asnjeri nuk u përgjigj; ndërkaq ata kërcenin rreth altarit që kishin ndërtuar.
