6. pastaj Sauli u tha Kenejve: "Shkoni, tërhiquni, dilni jashtë Amalekitëve, që të mos ju shkatërrojë bashkë me ta, sepse ju u treguat të mëshirshëm me të gjithë bijtë e Izraelit kur po dilnin nga Egjipti". Kështu Kenejtë u tërhoqën nga radhët e Amalekitëve.
