17. Atëherë mbreti urdhëroi rojet që e rrethonin: "Kthehuni dhe vritni priftërinjtë e Zotit, sepse edhe ata mbajnë anën Davidit dhe e dinin që ai kishte ikur, por nuk më njoftuan". Por shërbëtorët e mbretit nuk deshën të zgjatnin duart për të goditur priftërinjtë e Zotit.
