11. Kështu mblodhën tërë pincat e Filistejve dhe u thanë: "Largojeni arkën e Perëndisë të Izraelit; ajo të kthehet në vendin e saj, që të mos shkaktojë vdekjen tonë dhe të popullit tonë!". Në fakt ishte përhapur një lemeri vdekjeprurëse në të gjithë qytetin, sepse dora e Perëndisë rëndonte shumë mbi të.
