17. Mbreti e dashuroi Esterin më tepër se gjithë gratë e tjera, dhe ajo gjeti hir dhe mirëdashje në sytë e tij më tepër se tërë vajzat e tjera. Kështu ai i vuri mbi kokë kurorën mbretërore dhe e bëri mbretëreshë në vend të Vashtit.
