8. Bijtë e Izraelit bënë pikërisht ashtu si i kishte urdhëruar Jozueu: morën dymbëdhjetë gurë në mes të Jordanit, ashtu si e kishte porositur Zoti Jozueun, në bazë të numrit të fiseve të Izraelit, dhe i morën me vete matanë lumit në vendin ku do të kalonin natën, dhe i vendosën aty.
