31. Joashi iu përgjegj të gjithë atyre që ishin ngritur kundër tij: "Ju doni ta mbroni çështjen e Baalit ose ta ndihmoni atë? Ai që do të kërkojë të mbrojë çështjen e tij do të vritet para mëngjesit të ditës së nesërme. Në rast se ai është zoti, le ta mbrojë vetë çështjen e tij, sepse i kanë shembur altarin e tij".
