40. ထိုသို့ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရ ဘုရား မှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ ယောရှုသည် တောင် ပေါ်အရပ်၊ တောင်မျက်နှာအရပ်၊ ချိုင့်ထဲအရပ်၊ စမ်းရေ တွင်းအရပ်ရှိသမျှတို့နှင့်တကွ မင်းကြီးအပေါင်းတို့ကို လုပ်ကြံ၍၊ အသက်ရှင်သောသူတယောက်မျှ မကျန်ကြွင်း ရဘဲ ရှင်းရှင်းဖျက်ဆီးလေ၏။
