Ug si David mitubag sa sacerdote, ug miingon kaniya: Sa pagkamatuod ang mga babaye nahilayo gikan kanako sulod niining totolo ka adlaw; sa paghigula nako, ang mga sudlanan sa mga batan-ong lalake pulos nga balaan, bisan kini maoy usa lamang ka naandan nga pagpanaw; daw unsa pa niining adlawa ang labaw nga pagkabalaan sa ilang mga sudlanan?
