8. Ug nahitabo, sa diha nga misidlak na ang adlaw, nga gihikay sa Dios ang usa ka mainit nga hangin sa sidlakan; ug ang ulo ni Jonas gihampak sa kainit sa adlaw, sa pagkaagi nga siya naluya, ug naghangyo sa iyang kaugalingon nga siya buot magpakamatay, ug miingon: Maayo pa alang kanako ang pagpakamatay kay sa mabuhi ako.
