38. 所以，那跟自己的女朋友结婚的，作得好，那不结婚的，作得更好。（或译：“36如果有人认为待自己的女儿不合适，她也过了结婚的年龄，而且应当这样行，他就可以照着自己的意思去作，让她们结婚，这不是犯罪。37但如果他心里坚定，没有什么不得已的原因，又有权作主，决心留下自己的女儿，这样作也是好的。38所以，那让自己女儿出嫁的，作得好，那不让女儿出嫁的，作得更好。”）
