9. 耶户追寻亚哈谢。那时，亚哈谢躲藏在撒玛利亚，有人捉住他，把他带到耶户那里，耶户就杀了他，却把他埋葬了，因为他们说：“他是约沙法的孙子；这约沙法是一心寻求耶和华的。”这样，亚哈谢的家没有一人有能力可以保持王权的。
