17. A řekl David Bohu: Zdaliž jsem já nerozkázal čísti lidu? A jáť jsem sám ten, kterýž jsem zhřešil, a převelmi jsem zle učinil, tyto pak ovce co učinily? Hospodine, Bože můj, nechť jest, prosím, ruka tvá proti mně, a proti domu otce mého, ale proti lidu tvému nechť není rána.
