8. Íš-bóšetovu hlavu donesli Davidovi do Chebrónu. Řekli králi: "Tu je hlava Íš-bóšeta, syna tvého nepřítele Saula, který ti ukládal o život. Hospodin dopřál králi, mému pánu, dnešního dne pomstu nad Saulem i nad jeho potomstvem."
