8. Bůh uzavřel s Abrahamem smlouvu, jejímž znamením se stala obřízka. Když se podle Božího slibu Abrahamovi narodil Izák, osmého dne jej obřezal. Právě tak obřezal Izák Jákoba a Jákob svých dvanáct synů.
