24. Kuchař pozdvihl kýtu i to, co bylo na ní, a položil vše před Saula. Samuel řekl: "Hle, polož před sebe, co zůstalo, a jez. Bylo to uchováno pro tebe na tento slavnostní okamžik." A dodal: "Proto jsem svolal lid." Tak jedl onoho dne Saul se Samuelem.
