32. Abšalóm Jóabovi odpověděl: "Hle, poslal jsem ti vzkaz, abys přišel sem, že tě vyšlu ke králi s dotazem: Proč jsem přišel z Gešúru? Bylo by mi lépe, kdybych tam byl zůstal. Nyní chci spatřit královu tvář. Je-li na mně vina, ať mě vydá na smrt!"
