6. Chopili se tedy Jeremjáše a vhodili ho do cisterny Malkijáše, syna královského, která byla na nádvoří stráží. Spustili tam Jeremjáše po provazech. V cisterně nebyla voda, jen bláto, takže se Jeremjáš topil v blátě.
