8. Když Asa uslyšel tato slova, proroctví z úst Azariáše, syna Odedova, vzchopil se a odstranil ohavnosti z celé judské a benjamínské země i z měst, která zabral v Efraimských horách. Obnovil také Hospodinův oltář stojící naproti předsíni Hospodinova chrámu.
