9. Poté nechal hledat Achaziáše. Skrýval se v Samaří, ale tam ho zajali, přivedli ho k Jehuovi a zabili. Potom ho pohřbili, neboť si řekli: "Byl to syn Jošafatův a ten hledal Hospodina celým srdcem." V Achaziášově domě tak nezůstal nikdo, kdo by mohl vládnout.
