1. Potom se doslechl jeruzalémský král Adoni-cedek, že Jozue dobyl Aj a vyhladil je jako proklaté a že stejně, jak naložil s Jerichem a jeho králem, naložil i s Ajem a jeho králem a že obyvatelé Gibeonu s Izraelem uzavřeli mír a zůstávají mezi nimi.
