17. Und David sprach zu Gott: Habe nicht ich gesagt, daß man das Volk zählen solle? Ich bin es, der gesündigt und das große Übel getan hat. Was haben aber diese Schafe getan? HERR, mein Gott, laß doch deine Hand wider mich und meines Vaters Haus sein, und nicht wider dein Volk zur Plage!
