10. Er sprach: Ich habe heftig für den HERRN, den Gott der Heerscharen, geeifert; denn die Kinder Israel haben deinen Bund verlassen und deine Altäre zerbrochen und deine Propheten mit dem Schwert umgebracht, und ich bin allein übriggeblieben, und sie trachten darnach, mir das Leben zu nehmen!
