39. Als nun David hörte, daß Nabal tot war, sprach er: Gelobt sei der HERR, der meine Schmach an Nabal gerächt und seinen Knecht vom Unrecht abgehalten hat! Und der HERR hat Nabals Unrecht auf seinen Kopf vergolten! Und David sandte hin und ließ mit Abigail reden, um sie sich zum Weibe zu nehmen.
