15. Er machte in Jerusalem auch Maschinen, von Künstlern erfunden, die auf Türmen und Zinnen aufgestellt wurden, um mit Pfeilen und großen Steinen zu schießen. Also verbreitete sich sein Ruhm weithin, weil er sich so vorzüglich zu helfen wußte, bis daß er mächtig ward.
