17. Da ließ er den König der Chaldäer wider sie heraufkommen, der tötete ihre Jungmannschaft mit dem Schwert im Hause ihres Heiligtums und verschonte weder Jünglinge noch Jungfrauen, weder Alte noch Hochbetagte, alle gab er in seine Hand.
