2. Er schlug auch die Moabiter und maß sie mit der Meßschnur; er legte sie auf die Erde und maß zwei volle Schnurlängen ab, um sie zu töten, und eine volle Schnurlänge, um sie am Leben zu lassen. Also wurden die Moabiter David untertan und tributpflichtig gemacht.
