15. Da sprach Johanan, der Sohn Kareachs, heimlich zu Gedalja in Mizpa also: Laß mich doch hingehen, ich will Ismael, den Sohn Netanjas, erschlagen, daß es niemand erfährt! Warum sollte er dich totschlagen, so daß alle Juden, die sich zu dir versammelt haben, zerstreut werden und der Überrest von Juda umkommt?
