16. Johanan aber, der Sohn Kareachs, samt allen Hauptleuten des Heeres, die bei ihm waren, nahm den ganzen Überrest des Volkes, welchen Ismael, der Sohn Netanjas, nach der Ermordung Gedaljas, des Sohnes Achikams, von Mizpa weggeführt hatte: streitbare Männer, Weiber und Kinder und Kämmerer, welche er von Gibeon wiedergebracht hatte.
