19. Und wenn es dann geschieht, daß ihr fragt: «Weshalb hat der HERR, unser Gott, uns das alles angetan?» so sollst du ihnen antworten: «Gleichwie ihr mich verlassen und in eurem Lande fremden Göttern gedient habt, so müßt ihr auch jetzt Fremden dienen in einem Lande, das nicht euch gehört!»
