6. Denn die Kinder Israel wanderten vierzig Jahre lang in der Wüste, bis das ganze Geschlecht, die Kriegsleute, die aus Ägypten gezogen, umgekommen waren, weil sie der Stimme des HERRN nicht gehorcht hatten; wie denn der HERR ihnen geschworen, daß sie das Land nicht sehen sollten, welches uns zu geben der HERR ihren Vätern geschworen hatte, ein Land, das von Milch und Honig fließt.
