14. Als aber der König zu Ai solches sah, eilten die Männer der Stadt und machten sich früh auf und zogen heraus, wider Israel zu streiten, der König und sein ganzes Volk, an den bestimmten Ort vor der Ebene; denn er wußte nicht, daß ein Hinterhalt gelegt war hinter der Stadt.
