31. Da zogen die Kinder Benjamin heraus, dem Volke entgegen, und nachdem sie von der Stadt abgeschnitten worden, fingen sie an, etliche vom Volk zu erschlagen und zu töten, etwa dreißig Mann von Israel, wie zweimal zuvor, auf den Landstraßen, deren eine nach Bethel, die andere auf dem Felde nach Gibea führt.
