Da rief Simon seine zwei ältesten Söhne zu sich, Judas und Johannes, und sagte zu ihnen: Ich und meine Brüder und das ganze Haus meines Vaters haben von Jugend auf bis zu dieser Zeit gegen die Feinde des Volks Israel Kriege geführt, und Gott hat uns das Glück gegeben, daß Israel oft durch unsre Hände errettet worden ist.
