41. Als die Kaufleute in der Umgegend davon hörten, kamen sie in das Lager und brachten sehr viel Silber und Gold und Fesseln mit sich, um die Israeliten als Sklaven zu kaufen. Auch aus Syrien und andern fremden Ländern stieß viel Kriegsvolk zu ihnen.
