19. Denn als unsre Väter nach Persien weggeführt wurden, haben die frommen Priester jener Zeit Feuer vom Altar genommen und es heimlich in der Höhlung eines Brunnens versteckt, der eine wasserfreie Stelle besaß; dort verwahrten sie es so, daß niemand den Ort erfuhr.
