12. Und das war die Erscheinung: Onias, der frühere Hohepriester, ein trefflicher, im Umgang bescheidener, gütiger, beredter Mann, der von Jugend auf allem Guten nachgestrebt hatte, der streckte seine Hände aus und betete für die ganze Gemeinde der Juden.
