14. Denn unser Herrscher sieht uns nicht so langmütig zu wie den andern Völkern, die er hingehen läßt, bis sie das Maß ihrer Sünden erfüllt haben, und sie dann bestraft; sondern er wehrt uns, daß wir's nicht so weit treiben mit unsern Sünden und er uns zuletzt vernichtend bestrafen müßte.
