28. An diesem Tag eroberte Josua auch Makkeda und schlug es mit der Schärfe des Schwerts samt seinem König und vollstreckte den Bann an der Stadt und an allen, die darin waren, und ließ niemand übrig und tat mit dem König von Makkeda, wie er mit dem König von Jericho getan hatte.
