14. Als aber der König von Ai das sah, machten die Männer der Stadt sich eilends früh auf und zogen aus an einen bestimmten Ort nach dem Jordantal zu, um Israel zum Kampf zu begegnen, er mit seinem ganzen Kriegsvolk. Denn er wußte nicht, daß ihm ein Hinterhalt gelegt war auf der andern Seite der Stadt.
