17. Und Holofernes sagte zu ihr: Das hat Gott gut gefügt, daß er dich vorausgesandt hat, um durch dich das Volk in meine Hand zu geben. Wenn dein Gott tut, was du versprichst, so soll er auch mein Gott sein; du sollst hoch angesehen sein im Hause Nebukadnezars, und dein Name soll berühmt werden in aller Welt.
