16. Denn es ist besser, daß wir uns ergeben und am Leben bleiben und darin Gott loben, als daß wir umkommen und vor aller Welt zuschanden werden und sehen müssen, wie unsre Frauen und Kinder so jämmerlich vor unsern Augen sterben.
