18. Und weil ihr, liebe Brüder, die Ältesten des Volkes Gottes seid und ihr Leben in eurer Hand ist, tröstet das Volk mit eurem Wort, daß sie bedenken, wie unsre Väter auch versucht wurden, damit sie sich darin bewährten, daß sie Gott von Herzen dienten.
