24. Als aber Pilatus sah, daß er nichts ausrichtete, sondern das Getümmel immer größer wurde, nahm er Wasser und wusch sich die Hände vor dem Volk und sprach: Ich bin unschuldig an seinem Blut; seht ihr zu!
